Marielle Genet spent a significant portion of her career at the Accor hotel group before starting her own business almost ten years ago. Lifestyle Connected, an interior design firm, now employs 12 people.

One of the few businesswomen in Ho Chi Minh City's French community, internationally renowned in her field. Her clients include wealthy individuals looking for their dream home... and businesses such as Cartier, Moët-Hennessy, hotels, and restaurants.
In Singapore, the USA, Portugal, and France, this energetic little woman deploys her creativity and organizational skills. A strict rigor that reassures her professional contacts. But, she adds, "Lifestyle Connected generates 80% of its turnover in Vietnam."
The birth of his activity
Marielle Genet arrived in Saigon in 2006 with her husband and two sons, in charge of development for the Accor hotel group. "I already had extensive experience as an expat. And I'd always been passionate about interior design. There were magazines and books all over the house."
Marielle Genet thought long and hard before starting her company. But after more than two decades of loyal service for Accor, including ten years in Brazil, she was eager to explore new horizons. Lifestyle Connected was born in the garage of their magnificent villa in Thao Dien. "After six months, I hired an assistant. Then I had a two-story annex built in the garden."
Under the sign of the dragon
In 2021, the famous fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar devoted a long article to the interior designer. It was a sort of consecration. Lifestyle Connected continues on its path, protected by the sign of the dragon and its promises of luck and prosperity. "I was born in 1964, the year of the dragon," the Malagasy-born businesswoman, always keen to understand Vietnamese culture, is keen to point out. Marielle Genet doesn't want to hear the word retirement.
“The kids are grown. My husband works a lot. And when we travel to Europe, I get up at 4 a.m. to communicate with my team in Vietnam.” The Lifestyle Connected story is just beginning.
